Israel Trek 2010 "On Campus" at Georgetown

  • There are over 50 Israeli companies operating within a 20 mile radius of Downtown DC
  • More Israeli companies are listed on the Nasdaq than any other foreign country

The exciting event will feature:

  • Senior management from 14 companies in diverse industries from the DC area
  • Breakfast, lunch and a reception
  • Networking opportunity with fellow MBAs from Darden, Smith, and GW
  • All completely free!

Directions for Public Transportation

  • Take the Red Line to Dupont Circle.
  • Walk up the escalator and turn left.
  • Cross 20th street to get to Massachusetts Ave.
  • "GUTS Bus" shuttle picks up at the corner of 20th St. and Massachusetts Ave. (Sometimes this is a white school bus marked "GUTS" and sometimes it is a private shuttle bus company)
  • Shuttle drops off at by the Georgetown Hospital. Walk in the opposite direction of the bus (follow the group of students) until you cross the covered driveway.
  • Enter the Georgetown Leavy Center hotel.
  • Walk straight through the hotel entrance, straight down the hallway until you arrive at the end and make a left.
  • Exit about 20 steps on your right. Go through the glass doors, cross the walkway and enter the Hariri Building.
  • You will enter on the 3rd floor, and proceed to the registration table.

Directions to the Georgetown University Southwest Quad Garage:

  • Enter the Georgetown University campus through the Canal Road entrance located approximately 200 feet past the Exxon Mobil gas station. The following address can be used with mapping software: 3607 M St NW, Washington, DC 20057
  • As you travel up the hill, the visitor parking garage will be on your right (look for the sign for visitor parking). Present the guard with your name and you will be given a parking pass. Your name will be on a list and parking will be prepaid for you.
  • Once you park, exit the garage through the “North” exit
  • Walk up the hill along the football field (the field should be on your right side as you walk up the hill)
  • Turn right at top of hill and enter the Rafik B. Hariri Business School Building
  • Registration is on the 3rd floor

About Israel Trek
Israel Trek will connect some of these companies with you, our classmates, and with MBA students from Georgetown, Darden, Maryland and GW. Companies from a plethora of industries including IT, telecom, defense and product marketing will be present, all of whom are looking to meet driven students such as you. In addition to hearing from the executive teams of some of the most innovative companies in the world, we are excited to welcome representatives from the Israeli Embassy and the Virginia Governor’s Office. We have been awarded a special grant from the Israel on Campus Coalition of Greater Washington to ensure the success of this event. Israel Trek 2010 is an initiative spearheaded by Georgetown’s Jewish Business Alliance with the support of the participating schools. We hope you can help us make this inaugural symposium a success.
